Create terrain in 3D!
The Irony Games MapMagicalTM Terrain Editor lets you create 3D terrains. You can make mountains, valleys, hills, plains, canyons ... both above and below water! |

When you launch the Terrain Editor, it runs in a stand-alone window frame. You create your terrain in "wireframe" mode ... When you're done, (or would just like to see it in full 3D,) click the "VRML" button. (See tech notes.) You can pan and zoom or even walk around your landscape to explore the hills and valleys that you've created!
Note: This applet requires a Java 1.1 enabled broswer with full AWT 1.1 support. To walk through your terrain, you also need a VRML 2.0 plug-in.
Click on the "Start Editor" button to launch the MapMagical(TM) Terrain editor.
If you don't see the "Start Editor" button above, check out the troubleshooting page ...
License:
When you press the "VRML" button, the terrain data you created is sent back to our server to make a VRML "world" for your web browser. Your use implies our right to display your VRML world in our Users' Terrain Gallery.
Users' Terrain Gallery:
The last 200 VRML terrains created are stored in our Users' Terrain Gallery. Individual terrains are copyrighted by their respective creators; the collection is copyrighted by Ed Taychert's Irony Games.
